As a trainer, I used management skills to relay effective communication methods between the cashiers or production employees and the customers. Working in the customer service industry allows for diverse networking and requires flexible communication strategies to accommodate a variety of individuals with assorted expectations.
Balancing an off-campus job, academic demands and assorted social responsibilities requires effective time management abilities, which I had to learn very quickly and tried to continuously maintain. I started working at Panera Bread to help gain Alabama residency and enjoyed the atmosphere so much that I continued through several more years as a student.
